(New Article)

All fundraising shall be the sole responsibility of the executive of the association.
No other group or agency shall carry on fundraising under the name of Exploits Valley Minor Hockey, without the prior written permission of the association.
Fifteen per cent of all-star fundraising shall be returned to the association for house league purposes. Any teams or divisions violating the fundraising rules, such as fundraising without permission, shall have their fundraising privileges suspended for the rest of the season.                                                                                                               (New) Each Rep Team will be limited to one major Fund-raising project per year.

No player shall be allowed on the ice without being registered for insurance purposes.
All parents wishing to register a child in the Exploits Valley Minor Hockey Association must register the child in accordance with the procedure established by the association and must ensure that the child is duly registered prior to partaking in any game or practice sanctioned by the association.
There will be a separate registration fee for all-star and developmental play, an amount to be determined by the executive. All-star and developmental play will commence at a date to be determined by the executive. All house league fees must be paid in full in order for a player to be eligible to participate in an all-star or developmental program. If all house league fees are paid, then the all-star program in a particular division may begin earlier, at the discretion of the executive.

All registered players shall play and practice in his/her age division. No parent or guardian shall place their child in any division they wish without the approval of the executive. If a player or parent wishes to move to another division, they must first request in writing to the executive, who will then investigate and make a decision only after consulting the player and coaches involved in such a move. Each situation will be dealt with on an individual basis.
The following are the age groups for this association's minor hockey divisions:
            - initiation - up to 7
            - novice - 7 to 8
            - atom-9 to 10
            - peewee - 11 to 12
            - bantam - 13 to 14
            - midget- 15 to 17.
- The division in which a player is to be placed is determined by the player's age as of December 31st of each hockey season.

Registration for all players shall be paid in full by December 31st of each hockey season.
Parents are asked to pay 50 per cent up front at the beginning of the hockey season, with provision for looking at individual circumstances and payment plans. There is a certain amount that must be paid at the beginning of the year in order to register each player with the HNL insurance program. This amount is to be made known by the executive before the start of the registration.

In the event that a member of the executive has cause to be investigated for any infraction related to minor hockey, that person shall take temporary leave of that position pending a resolution of the situation.

General meetings shall be held monthly or as deemed necessary by the executive.

Members will pay a fee as determined by the executive that would be fair to cover the players' costs.
Failure to pay registration fee will result in the suspension of the player from further play until this executive can confirm a successful resolution. Under special circumstances (i.e. family tragedies), the executive has the right to negotiate an alternate measure of action.
If there are monies outstanding from the previous year, all outstanding fees must be paid, plus the upcoming registration in full.

Billeting is required by HNL for provincial tournaments. Therefore, participating players may be responsible for billets due to the provincial requirement. No such requirement is in place for association-hosted, invitational events.

(New) A committee to be formed every two years to review necessary changes to the association’s constitution and by-laws.
